ABOUT UNIFIED SRM
Shane Bradley is the owner and principal at Unified SRM, a multi-security discipline consultation and professional services company, with a focus on Cybersecurity.

Prior to forming Unified SRM, Shane served for twenty-two years in the U.S. military, with most of those years in the National Guard; and almost eleven years as a Federal Civil Servant.
Shane earned a commission into the U.S. military’s officer corps and served in Operation Iraqi Freedom as a combat helicopter pilot where he was awarded the ‘The Air Medal’ and flew missions to areas such as Babylon and Kuwait. He also has been deployed to Egypt, and served as a military intelligence officer.
Shane’s federal civil service career started as an Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO), then appointed as the Information Assurance Manager (IAM) and lastly appointed as the Personnel Security Manager )PSM) and Special Security Officer (SSO) for the organization. His federal career focused on designing, administering, and managing the many security disciplines, in addition to liaising with other DoD and Federal agencies on matters as they related to intelligence, military and federal operations. Shane has also worked within the Defense Industry as an Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and Facility Security Officer (FSO), performing facility design, creating programs, policies and procedures, and implementing technology and physical controls which are legally required by and compliant with the National Industrial Security Program.
Shane worked with the early implementations of Department of Defense certification and accreditation (C&A) programs ‘DoD Information Technology Security Certification and Accreditation Process’ (DITSCAP), which became the ‘DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP). Although not formally referred to as risk management frameworks (RMFs), the DISTCAP & DIACAP C&A processes have transitioned to the present day RMF, which was first legally required by the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) in coordination with the Office of Management and Budget’s memo A-130, to secure U.S. government information systems, and also those categorized as both Unclassified National Security Systems (UNSSs) and Classified National Security Systems (CNSS).
Shane is a Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP); is a member of the FBI sponsored InfraGard and is a Cyber Liaison Officer (CLO) for the Wisconsin Security Information Center (WSIC).
